Today Australia mourns the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, via a national public holiday.

The end of the second Elizabethan era ushers in the new Carolean one, with Charles III ascending the throne at 73 years old (showing it’s never too late to try something new)!

Fun fact : coins featuring the new King Charles III will show his face pointing left, where his mother faced to the right. This is based on a tradition dating back to the 17th century, to alternate the direction each time.
